have/use, and why I should/shouldn’t buy it?

If anyone has a version of Multi-Ripper later than 2.0a, could they please
.LHA and UUEncode it and send it to me?  I have 2.0a, but it doesn’t search
the second 512K of your fatter agnus.  I’ve heard of version 2.2a being out
there somewhere, but as I don’t have FTP access, I have to resort to UUD.

My younger daughter plays violin. We’d like to be able to type in some score
so she can listen to it.
We do it using DeLuxeMusic, but
    – it’s real buggy
    – it has no violin instrument
Any recent version of DML (I bought this one back in 87), any other program
to perform that ?

Has anyone out there seen a program
that will allow Octave and Pitch
changes in REAL TIME? I have been
searching high and low for such an
animal with no luck whatsoever.. The
closest thing I came to was a program
found on Fish disk 300.. But it never

I have a mod player for my GS, and I would like to find out if there
are any other ftp sites for mod files apart from ab20.larc.nasa.gov.

Also, it would be useful for people to classify the mods available on
the ftp sites.  Maybe they could classify it by the kind of music.
Eurobeat (trash), house, rap, etc.

  I’ve just ported the mod2smus program to the PC and I’d like some smus
files to try it out on.  I can’t find any on ab20/jyu.fi/mars/wuarchive.
  If someone could give me a pointer, or send me a uuencoded file, I’ll
, umm, I don’t knoww what I’ll do, but it won’t be much.

Does any-one know the latest version of this great player ?

This great player could soon be in trouble, because of this :-

NoisePlayer evolved from a SoundTracker player. (By a European coder)

Then at NoisePlayer V3.00 (i think) an English coder, made it better.

Several updates later, and it is now at Version 4.00 ( I think. )

Now the original coders are planning an update.

Does any one know any more about this un-pleasant sounding story , including
the latest version number ???

As a side point, Why can’t we have a Track Player with hundreds of features,
that doesn’t multitask ???

Not everyone uses the Amiga to listen to music, and do other things. Sometimes
I would want to use the Amiga as a ‘CD type player.’ Possibly to include
various abstract graphics into the player as well, so the graphics are in sync
with the music.

Hello, all,
        I’m after the music (or even the whole demo) called "Bar Brian". This
music was pilfered from the British "Barbarian" game (i.e. not the psygnosis
barbarian game).
        This is a VERY OLD demo, and has disappeared (if it ever was on ab20 or
xanth).

        If you’ve got a non-descript piece of music with lots of thumps, args,
slashes, and "DIE!"s in it, it’s a good bet that this is it.
(there’s also a timpani-like drum noise too)

    I havnt been able to find this anywhere on AB20.   I went through the entire
incoming dir (mget e*, etc etc) and through the mods.  Couldnt find it.

Where is it?!??  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
